Bio
Adam Inouye is an Asian American percussionist based in Central Kentucky. He is currently a student at the University of Kentucky, pursuing a degree in music education, where he performs with the UK Percussion Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Wildcat Marching Band. In the marching arts, Adam was a snare drummer for the 2023 Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps during their breakthrough return to competition. He also works as a percussion instructor and alumnus of the Lafayette High School Marching Band, 22-time Kentucky state marching band champions. Adam has a great passion for composing and arranging, showcasing his work online via YouTube and other mediums. In creating this online content, Adam has also become experienced as a producer and engineer, doing all video and audio production in-house. Whether it's a recording session on drum kit, a commissioned percussion piece, or teaching your drumline, Adam would love to connect and figure out a plan to work together!

I can offer a variety of services, but here are some example projects that I can take on:

Marching arts education and/or design (hire me to teach or write for your marching band or indoor group's percussion)

Commissioned composition (can be for any number of performers, you will receive pdf files for sheet music and a MIDI realization of the piece)

Commissioned recorded music (ex. film/video game score, remote session work, anything that involves recording myself as a performer)

Live performance (hire me as a percussion/drum set performer)

Private lessons (One-off or reoccurring lessons on either a singular instrument or a variety of percussion instruments, in-person lessons in the central Kentucky area, available for Zoom lessons)
